Booster III, released in December 2009 is the third installment of a successful series of compilations featuring a number of tracks that already have released in recent time plus some completely new compositions or previously unreleased remixes. This series includes the following albums:

With the release of Booster III Tangerine Dream returned to the usage of gold-foil colour for printing parts of the cover artwork -- a style they introduced with the foundation of their TDI label in 1997 und used up to 2003.
