Notes

This limited bonus disc was sent to the first 200 customers of the TDI web shop who ordered East (see details there). It was released as a CD-R with TDI logo in a simple white cardboard sleeve with a small printed sticker.

The CD contains three of the four encores missing on the official East release: While Berlin Summer Nights, being the fourth encore was included on East, this CD features Alchemy Of The Heart and Alexander Square (which were the first and second encore tracks) as well as House Of The Rising Sun (which was the last encore and completely different from the version that was performed during the 1988 US tour). Unfortunately, the fourth encore, Ruling The Waves was not added to the disc.

East (The Missing Encores) - Edition J

In October 2022, Jerome Froese released a new version of this mini album, now titled East (The Missing Encores) - Edition J as download only, thus no physical media of this release do exist so far. The digital cover artwork does not show any artist name, though the download was released under the moniker 'Jerome Froese & Tangerine Dream'. The 'Edition J' includes the albums listed below:

This release includes all three tracks of the original version, plus two previously unreleased bonus tracks from the soundcheck on the afternoon before the concert. While Ruling The Waves was also played as an encore that evening (but not included on the original disc, as mentioned above), 21st Century Common Man, Part One was not performed again. As a sixth track (not listed in the tracks section above) the download contains the first three live tracks segued together without gaps. All tracks have been remastered in 2020 from the original DAT tapes.
