| | | The Official Bootleg Series Volume One is the second release of the official bootleg series series that, so far, includes the following albums: |
| | |
|
| | | This set features two (probably) complete Tangerine Dream concert recordings from 1974 and 1976. Both had been previously fan-released as Tangerine Tree Volume 30: Reims 1974 (2003) and as part of Tangerine Tree Volume 13: Germany 1976, respectively. |
| | | Sound quality of both concerts is near to excellent; both sources had been especially pre-mastered for this release by Wouter Bessels, who as well has written extensive liner notes about Tangerine Dream covering the era from late 1973 to 1976. |
| | | The set is nicely packaged: it comes in a cardboard box, including four photo cardboard sleeves (each one housing one of the four CDs), a 16 page booklet (including credits, the liner notes mentioned above, as well as numerous photos and scans) and a fold out poster (sized 24 by 36 cm) with two different concert posters of the 1974 gig. |
