"The purpose of a fish trap is to catch fish, and when the fish are caught, the trap is forgotten. The purpose of a rabbit snare is to catch rabbits. When the rabbits are caught, the snare is forgotten. The purpose of words is to convey ideas. When the ideas are grasped, the words are forgotten. Where can I find a man who has forgotten words? He is the one I would like to talk to." - Chuang Tzu
"We consider bible, holy books and religions divine -- I do not say they are not divine, I say they have all grown out of you and may grow out of you still, It is not they who give the life, it is you who give the life, Leaves are not more shed from the trees, or trees from the earth, than they are shed out of you.
And all pervasive there is the wordless unknown to men -- not written down anywhere." - Walt Whitman
"I have nothing to say, I an saying it, and that is poetry." - John Cage
"As is the human body, so is the cosmic body. As is the human mind, so is the cosmic mind. As is the microcosm, so is the macrocosm. As is the atom, so is the universe." - The Upanishads
"Thus shall ye think of all this fleeting world: A star at dawn, a bubble in the stream, A flash of lightning in a summer cloud, A flickering lamp, a phantom and a dream." - The Buddha
