Notes

On March 25th, 2010 Tangerine Dream performed in the Lisbon Coliseu (Portugal) as part of a small European Tour. The gig was filmed, and in December 2010 a DVD was released, featuring the complete concert of more than 3 hours.

 


The DVD comes with a 12 page booklet, containing the track listing, the credits and many photos from the concert, including several snapshots from the band's aftershow meeting with their fans. The DVD menu provides the options to play the complete concert as well as to start from individual tracks, to view the credits or the bonus feature, and to do the audio setup (Stereo 2.0 or Dolby Surround 5.1).

 


The Eastgate Music Shop about the DVD release"25th March, 2010, 9:30 pm. TD entered the stage of the beautiful big Coliseum theatre in the middle of Lisbon, Portugal's capital. After a very strange live cello quartet performance followed by a suddenly 'wiped out' opening with Linda playing an outstanding grand piano solo, you'll hear what TD stands for after more than four decades: the style, the sound, the compositions. Here -- once more -- you can witness why this band is original and incomparable -- just 'in it' for the art of timeless music. Set yourself free from your daily routines and join for more than a three hours' travel to your landscapes of imagination. By the way, those who joined the Zeitgeist Concert in the London Royal Albert Hall in April 2010 will be happy to get at least a video from the Lisbon show as it was nearly the same show except from three tracks which were only performed in Lisbon (therefore the band had to miss out the second Encore which you had in London...). So enjoy this unusual sonic and visual testimony of time!"

 


Regarding the Eastgate DVD release, neither disc nor the paper inserts show any order number or barcode, but the number given below is the order number the Eastgate Music Shop lists this release.

 


The Live In Lisbon Postcard

The first 200 orders of the CD received a special high quality postcard signed by all band members (see left and below). The front side shows the DVD cover artwork plus the following imprint:

"Thank you for being a loyal fan of Tangerine Dream. We're happy to present you this little zoom-o-graphic originally named Timeless Floor -- with best seasonal greetings and a successful year 2011."

The back of the card shows the imprint below plus the autographs of Edgar Froese, Bernhard Beibl, Thorsten Quaeschning, Iris Camaa and Linda Spa:

"Please take these original autographs as a thankful gesture for following Tangerine Dream on all those eventful years. With all the best, Vienna, December 2010"
