In an interview with Wouter Bessels, Steve Jolliffe recalls this gig, when he had an argument with Edgar Froese on stage: "From my point of view, the interaction on stage worked pretty well, up to that gig at Hammersmith. Towards the end of the set, Edgar decided that I had played enough and tried to shout me down with some loud discordant chords on the Mellotron attempting to show his contempt. This of course just made me more determined to carry on and a battle of chords developed. The audience thought it was part of the show and loved it. When we came off stage Edgar was livid and grabbed me by the collar shouting 'you do that again and I'll kick you off stage'. That was the first sign that the end was near." A week later, on March 28th, the tour came to an end after an extra gig at the same venue in London, and Steve Jolliffe left the band.
