Notes

In 1991 the soundtrack music of the film The Park Is Mine, starring Tommy Lee Jones, was released for the first time on CD. It had been composed back in 1985 by TD with the line-up Edgar Froese, Chris Franke and Johannes Schmoelling.

More information about this movie is available at The Internet Movie Database.

As stated on the CD insert, the recording was prepared for release without the cooperation of TD. Thus it could not be mastered using the original master tapes by TD but two-track stereo tapes used for the film. This resulted in a sound quality not as excellent as TD listeners are used to. The CD booklet has liner notes, titled "T Dreaming In Toronto Park", by Matt Hargreaves, co-author of the printed TD discography Voices In The Dunes.

Re-Releases

In September 2011 the album was made available for download by BSX Records. At that time there was no according re-release on CD, though.

The Park Is Mine And The Lords Of Chaos

In the 2019 movie The Lords Of Chaos a vinyl edition of The Park Is Mine is displayed for a quick second, though the album has never been officially released on vinyl. Apparently this is a prop made especially for the movie.

A remake of the album track The Claymore Mine/Stalking is part of the soundtrack of that movie as well. This re-recorded version -- arranged, performed and produced by Thorsten Quaeschning -- was then released on the album Recurring Dreams (2019).

Probably inspired by the appearance of a vinyl release in the movie Lords Of Chaos (see above) a counterfeit LP was released in 2020 in the USA. It has completely different cover artwork but looks quite professional. On the back cover the statement "For promotional use only. Not for sale." is printed, nevertheless it was offered for sale on some internet platforms. It is said to be a limited edition of only 25 copies, though this statement cannot be confirmed, of course.

In July 2022 the album was finally re-released by BSX records on CD again. The music material has been remastered for this re-release, resulting in better sound quality than that of the original release. The six page booklet features movie stills, credits and new liner notes by Brian Satterwhite. This edition is limited to only 500 copies.
