| Notes | | | Finally, after some months of delay (caused by the British custom authorities who had seized a bootleg edition which had been shipped from the USA to Europe), British bootleggers released the soundtrack of the Michael Mann movie The Keep that had been recorded back in 1983 by Edgar Froese, Chris Franke and Johannes Schmoelling but had never been released by Virgin Records due to copyright problems. The music on this bootleg CD was taken from a studio master tape, additional tracks were taken from a 1985 German radio broadcast and from the bootleg CD 70/90. Thus, the illegal release had become available two years before the official release The Keep from TDI, that was only available in a limited version of a few hundred copies and contained different music than the bootleg. | | | | The booklet contains a photo from the film and one showing Michael Mann and Edgar Froese during the set of the movie, taken from TD's UK tour-book from 1990. The bootleg producers did not care about something crude: They used also a swastika for the inner artwork of the CD case. |
