| Notes | | | Tangerine Tree Volume 29: London 1990 fills the gap of concerts of the early nineties with a recording of the London concert of October 26th, 1990. Besides the Bristol show that is featured on several bootlegs this might be the best fan recording from the 1990 UK tour. The release was remastered straight from the audience master recording, so the sound is very clean with few exceptions, the most notable being some disturbing noises during the very first minutes, which were caused by a loose microphone connection. The repertoire of that tour mostly consisted of tracks taken from Optical Race (1988), Lily On The Beach, Destination Berlin (both 1989) and Melrose (1990). But it also includes a yet unreleased epic of some twelve minutes and the track Ruling The Waves which is so far only available as an official download from the internet. Furthermore several well-known tracks sound quite different from their studio versions due to the fact that on this tour Tangerine Dream introduced two guests on saxophone, one of them being Linda Spa who would become almost a regular group member during the following six years. | | | | For other concerts released as part of this fan project, please refer to the Chronological Concert Listing. | | | | As with all releases of the Tangerine Tree project, this release is made by fans for fans. It must not be sold but is to be traded freely. |
