Notes | | | "Art is either plagiarism or revolution." - Paul Gauguin |
| | | Tangerine Tree II (consisting of volumes 9 to 16) was opened with a complete double CD version of the famous London Royal Albert Hall concert of April 2nd, 1975, that had been broadcast by the BBC radio. The sound quality is nearly perfect, as it was mastered straight from the original BBC tape, plus it has the missing "finale" from the first set, taken from a first generation audience recording. This release is unique in terms of the fact that it features one of the very few concerts where Michael Hoenig replaced the absent Peter Baumann. Musically it isn't a million miles away from Rubycon (1975), and thus Tangerine Tree Volume 9: London 1975 is a superb companion to that official studio album. |
| | | This release made the bootlegs Coefficient Of Aural Expansion and Phaedream obsolete, which consist of material from the same concert, but are incomplete and of less excellent sound quality. |
| | | The track listing above shows titles according to the naming conventions used throughout this compilation and the revised artwork by Leah Cim. The track listing as printed on the original cover is as follows:- Part One 68:54
- Part Two 40:00
- Part Three 13:56
|
| | | In 2003, most material of this volume has been made officially available through the release of The Bootleg Box Set Vol. 1. |
| | | For other concerts released as part of this fan project, please refer to the Chronological Concert Listing. |
| | | As with all releases of the Tangerine Tree project, this release is made by fans for fans. It must not be sold but is to be traded freely. |
