After a special limited pre-release of 2,000 copies in November 1994, the official version of the US soundtrack Babylon 5, originally scheduled for February/March 1995, was finally released with heavy delay in September 1995.
While the pre-release CD included a poster and a booklet signed by Chris Franke, the general release features an additional track and the booklet has four additional pages showing photographs of the actors and some liner notes.
