A Time For Heroes

In 1987 Tangerine Dream performed the instrumental version of the Theme music of the 1987 International Summer Special Olympic Games. This is one of the few occasions TD played a composition not written by themselves.

There are several official versions of this composition:

a regular instrumental studio recording from 1987
an extended instrumental studio recording from 1987

TD performed this track live during their 1987 Berlin concert, but this version was never officially released. There is a vocal version of this composition, too, but that was not performed by Tangerine Dream but by Meat Loaf and Bryan May.
