Chris Franke, The Berlin Symphonic Film Orchestra (cond. by Brynmor Jones)
Producer(s)
Edgar Rothermich
Notes
In 1992 Chris Franke composed for another US action movie, Universal Soldier, directed by Roland Emmerich and starring Jean-Claude van Damme and Dolph Lundgren. The soundtrack album was released on CD in the same year.
In the USA, the record was promoted by a poster in special technique: the poster is printed on both sides of the paper, with a mirror image on the back side. If there is a light source shining onto the back side, the poster shows a colourful effect with the red, blue and wihite parts shining out of the black background.
Suitable for the movie's theme, the music is quite dark and in most parts uncomforting, thus quite different to Chris Franke's regular albums Pacific Coast Highway (1991) or The London Concert (1992).
