"Tangerine Dream will perform a very special show on 1st July 2007 at the city of Eberswalde, about 1 hour drive from the city of Berlin. This show will be an Open Air gig and free of charge, so no ticket dazzles, the huge market place holds up to approx. 10,000 people.
Background story of this gig: On the 1st of July Eberswalde celebrates the opening of its new 'Paul-Wunderlich-House' a huge public building complex including an Art Center with permanent exhibitions of the famous painter and sculptor Paul Wunderlich who was born in Eberswalde and became 80 years now. The highly acclaimed surrealist artist has given his name to the Center. You will find Paul Wunderlich's paintings and sculptures within the art collections of Tina Turner, Elton John, Madonna and many others. So it is an honour for Tangerine Dream to celebrate this opening with a very special concert and light show. The gig will start at 10 pm and will run approx. 1 hour 30 minutes. You will also have the chance to visit the exhibition to see the artworks of Paul Wunderlich."
