Set List

First Set

Logos Intro (4:30)
Faithful to the released version on Logos Live (that is, not extended as in the UK 1981 tour).
Logos Cyan (2:30)
Only the first part of this was released on Logos Live, up to the fade-out of the high lead. The version played live continues the high-pitched lead, which is joined by a sampled male choir effect in the background.
Heritage Survival (5:30)
The version on The Keep has a newly recorded intro (of about 30 seconds), replacing the start of this piece as played live. It also has a new lead in the "verses", and the "chorus" has a new guitar-synth sound compared to the live version. By contrast, the live version opens with the percussion and a four note sequence repeatedly played in three successive descending octaves.
Mirage (2:30)
Essentially a drone with the intermittent percussive effect from Ancient Powerplant from The Keep. Overlaid with vocoder and other spot effects. This piece has not been officially released so far.
Sign In The Dark (5:00)
The opening of the CD version on The Keep does not appear live. Conversely, the melody is absent from the CD version until about three minutes in. This piece can also be found on The Hollywood Years Vol. 2 under the title South Camora in a slightly remixed form.
The Night In Romania (4:15)
The CD version on The Keep is virtually faithful to the live version, except that the percussion is faded in, rather than appearing from the beginning.
Dreamscape (6:15)
A jaunty piece, revolving around a seven note sequence. Soft percussion. No melody, merely a series of chords around which the sequence modulates. Officially unreleased so far.
Choronzon (8:15)
The bog standard live version of this Exit track, although appearing here for the first time as part of the main set, rather than as an encore.
Tangent (3:30)
The opening part, quite faithful to the version on Poland, up until the drum rolls fade away.

Second Set

Mojave Plan (10:30)
The first two sections of this track from White Eagle.
Logos Velvet (7:00)
The track actually begins with the first few seconds of Horizon (the wind effect) faded in from Mojave Plan. Thereafter faithful to the album version on Logos Live.
Logos Red (8:15)
Faithful to the album version on Logos Live.
Logos Blue (5:15)
Faithful to the album version on Logos Live.
Logos Black (4:45)
Faithful to the album version on Logos Live.
Logos Green (4:45)
Faithful to the album version on Logos Live.
Logos Yellow (7:15)
Faithful to the album version on Logos Live.
Logos Coda (3:00)
Faithful to the album version on Logos Live.

Encores

Midnight In Tula (4:00)
Faithful to the album version on White Eagle. Was played as first encore on all gigs of this tour, as far as fan tapes exist.
White Eagle (4:30)
Faithful to the album version on White Eagle. Later tour versions would borrow the lead voice from Das Mädchen auf der Treppe. Was played as second encore on all gigs of this tour, as far as fan tapes exist.
Dominion (5:00)
Faithful to the album version on Logos Live. Was played as third encore on some gigs of this tour only.

(All times rounded to nearest 15 seconds and include bridges following song, if any.)

Large parts of this section have been taken from the site What Dreams Are Made Of by kind permission of the authors John A. Burek and Mark Schaffer.

Notes

The 1982 UK Tourbook

For the 1982 European tour a tourbook was published. It consists of 20 pages featuring numerous photos taken by Monica Froese between 1980 and 1982, the tour dates up to November 15th (listed as "First Part") and the credits. Notably, the booklet is titled "Tour 82/83", though the tour ended in November 1982.
