Notes

After Iconic, released in 2020, Hydragate is the second full length album of the project S-A-W. Meanwhile Andreas Merz has joined the project, with whom Johannes Schmoelling had already collaborated on two tracks of his album 21 in 2021.

Once again, the album is very homogenous, featuring ten melodic electronic tracks that would easily fit on each of Johannes Schmoelling's more recent solo albums -- though the compositional and musical input of the other three artists is clearly perceptible, of course, and adds to the album's diversity of sound.
