Carmel Calif

The liner notes of Views From A Red Train about Carmel Calif: "This composition was entirely created during a two nights stay at a carmel hotel in california. The composer was on his way to San Francisco en route on the famous PCH going north. The place is a timeless nothing of everything. Surreal as Mr Eastwood the former mayor of the city sat in the afternoon sun in front of an American diner. No horse, no desert, no gun."

There are several versions of this composition:
  • the original studio recording from 2007
  • eight slightly different live recordings from 2007 through 2011
