Notes

The soundboard recording of the concert in New Haven, finally released as Tangerine Tree Volume 42: New Haven 1988, is most probably the best available fan recording of Tangerine Dream's 1988 tour. Tangerine Leaves Volume 4: Toronto 1988, featuring a remastered audience recording, was the first appearance of this tour in this fan project; another audience recording has been released as Tangerine Leaves Volume 19: Hoffman Estates 1988.

 


The track listing above shows titles according to the naming conventions used throughout this compilation and a somewhat corrected track splitting. This volume of the Tangerine Leaves series was released prior to Rockface, an official recording from the 1988 tour, so official names for some previously unreleased compositions were unknown at that time. The Toronto concert was special in the way that TD had a power outage for a couple of minutes during Marakesh, hence this track has a running time of only one minute and got the tounge-in-cheek subtitle No Volt Version (compare this with the subtitle of 220 Volt on the official album Tournado).
