1982, three years after the release of Edgar Froese's previous solo album, Virgin issued the compilation Solo 1974 - 1979, featuring material from the following albums:

Aqua (1974; track 9)
Epsilon In Malaysian Pale (1975; track 4)
Macula Transfer (1976; tracks 2, 5 and 7)
Ages (1978; tracks 3 and 8)
Stuntman (1979; tracks 1 and 6)

Some of the tracks had been remixed and re-recorded by Edgar Froese for this album, thus this compilation includes material not available on any other record.

Re-Releases

Solo 1974 - 1979 has never been released on CD, but in 2012 at least some of the re-recorded and remixed tracks eventually became available on CD as part of the compilation box Solo (1974-1983) - The Virgin Years, which was carefully remastered and provides an excellent sound quality.
